Delete Your Account
You can permanently delete your Manbii account and all associated data at any time. This action is irreversible.
Option 1 — Delete from the app (recommended)
- Open the Manbii app on your Android device.
- Tap the hamburger menu (☰) in the top-left corner of the map screen.
- Tap Profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted.
Your account, profile, reports, photos, and push tokens are permanently deleted within seconds of confirming.
Option 2 — Request by email
If you no longer have access to the app, email us from the phone number's registered address or include your phone number in the request:
Email privacy@manbii.comWe will process your request within 30 days as required under Ghana's Data Protection Act 2012.
What gets deleted
- Your phone number and profile (display name, city, home location).
- All reports you submitted — whether published, under review, resolved, or rejected — along with every photo attached to them.
- Your push notification token.
- Your authentication credentials.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Aggregated, fully anonymised metrics (for example, total report counts per category) may be retained for analytics purposes, but contain no information that can identify you.
